Nikita Bhukar
Ms. Nikita Bhukar has extensive experience in strategic planning and project management with a strong gender focus. She currently works as a programme coordinator at HNSA on activities related to the implementation of projects and advocacy on the issue of violence against women home-based workers. With a demonstrated history of working with think tanks and NGOs for six years in India, Ms Nikita is skilled in Non-profit Organizations, Policy Analysis, Program Evaluation, Strategic Planning, and Research.
Previously, Ms Nikita worked with Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI), where her role focused on research on the issues of policing an prison reforms. At CHRI, she worked for the rights of Women, Children in custody, Scheduled Caste community, and refugees in detention in India.
Ms Nikita completed her Master’s in Social work with specialization in Criminology and Justice from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in the year 2017.
