Sarbani Kattel is a Program Manager at HNSA - working and residing in Nepal. She is responsible for managing and implementing projects as well as undertaking reporting assignments for the organisation. Ms. Kattel has previously taken up roles in areas like Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, the Private Sector’s Role in Public Security, and in building Public- Private Dialogue while working for organisations like the National Business Initiative and International Alert, Nepal.
Ms. Kattel holds a PhD degree from the Central Department of Public Administration, Tribhuvan University, Nepal, where her research involved studying the empowerment of women micro-entrepreneurs in the Kathmandu Valley. Her interest lies in research, women’s empowerment, micro-enterprises, home-based workers, CSR, and policy-related studies.
