Working In Garment Supply Chains: A Homeworker's Toolkit

HNSA would like to acknowledge, with gratitude, the financial support received from DFID’s “Work and Opportunities for Women” (WoW) Programme towards the making of this toolkit. The demand for a South Asia-specific toolkit for homeworkers in garment supply chains came from HNSA’s membership. HNSA would like to thank its members for contributing generously to the toolkit. HNSA would like to thank its sister organisation WIEGO for partnering on the development of this toolkit. It would especially like to thank Marty Chen, Renana Jhabvala, Firoza Mehrotra, Chris Bonner, Marlese Von Broembsen, Prabha Pokhrel and homeworkers, who attended the toolkit-based training on February 2020 in Kathmandu, - for providing their valuable comments and feedback that enriched this document.

This toolkit was created with support from the Work and Opportunities for Women (WOW) programme, a flagship women’s economic empowerment programme funded with UK aid from the British people.
